For those of us without Mother's alive or in town...

Movies on Mother's Day - then tour the museum and see the costume exhibit. Feel free to go early to see the 11am movie, But we are going to see the 2 o'clock movie. I spoke to a friend tonight who said we really should give ourselves MORE time to see the costumes. They show short movie clips with the costumes in them and there are many costumes to see. Museum closes at 5pm on Sunday, so seeing all the costumes after the 2 o'clock movie may rush it a bit.

SO, IF you can, meet us a little earlier like 12:45, same place, the movie theater - and those of us who can will spend about 30 minutes before the Marilyn Monroe movie walking through the costume exhibit. We will still meet up back at the movie theater at 1:30. Then we will resume looking at the costumes after the movie as well.

Double-feature screening of My Fair Lady (starring Audrey Hepburn) at 11am and Some Like it Hot (starring Marilyn Monroe) at 2pm, exploring representations of femininity in Hollywood. Featuring costumes on exhibit! Ticket includes both shows.($18 museum entrance)

We will meet at the area where the movies are being shown. Please ask at the admissions for directions! Buy tickets on site that day.
