Contrary to what Sex and the City would have you believe, women rarely share intimate details from their bedroom with one another. So “Kiss and Tell: Secrets of Sexual Desire from Women 15 to 97” was written to open the floodgates and let women talk candidly about what creates and sustains desire throughout their lifetime.
Focusing on the factors that enhance a woman's desire to engage in sex, "Kiss and Tell" is both flirty and factual, educational but erotic.
The book's author, former journalist Anne Rodgers, will be in Phoenix Thursday, June 6, for a 7 p.m. book signing at Barnes & Noble in Desert Ridge (21001 N. Tatum Blvd.)
She'll speak about her research and how she became interested in the subject of what gets women in the mood for sex and what could make them interested more often. She partnered with gynecologist Maureen Whelihan, M.D. and surveyed 1,300 of the doctor's patients to discover the answers to questions such as "what are you thinking about during sex?" and "what is the one thing in regard to sex you wish your partner wouldn't do?"
The responses are both riveting and surprising. Hear for yourself Thursday at 7.
